Get past The Texas Ranger being branded a necrophiliac on track one, and I can guarantee that you'll be branding this debut CD from one of Brisvegas' premier ska acts a winner. Not that I'm defending the woman-stealing cowboy in any sense of the word. Wiseacre's investigations into the three B's of life - beer, bummin' around and bumper bowling - (or is that 4?) make for refreshingly catchy, light-hearted lyrics that stick in your head longer than the latest teen queens'. The staple song 'Hole in Her Pants' is, as always, a source of constant amusement, while the instrumental 'Kung Fu Attack of the One Legged Moonwalkers' - a definite highlight - could get anyone offa their asses & skankin'. Neato keen. |
