The
Skatalites Admittedly it takes you a while to get into the original ska, I’ve only got into it in recent times, but when you do you regret that you’ve waited so long. The Skatalites deserve all the respect they get because quite honestly we can thank them for the wonderful music that is ska. Nothing relaxes you more than a Skatalites instrumental, my favourite from this CD would have to be “Chinatown” although all the tracks are great. It’s not all that hard to find their CDs in Australia because they’ve been re-released so you don’t really have any excuse not to have one or many. Other favourite tracks would be “The Reburial” and “Skaravan”. |
