Skammunicator: It's not my name - it's my tag!

The Editor speaks...
1st March 2002
For those of you have read the past issues of this zine, you'll have noticed yet another change to the layout. I'm trying to make it look half decent, yet using the cheapest printing option. I think it'd be pretty unusual, even ironic, if I came out with a glossy zine, with ska in its current state. It's all about content anyway and this issue has interviews with Amedeo from Bluekilla and Franicis from Addiction 64. Thanks must go to Mark and Chelle respectively for letting me put them in the zine. There's also highlights of my trip to Melbourne late last year, plus some reviews and a profile of Justin Hinds. If you have access to a photocopier, please feel free to recreate this issue of The Skammunicator in any form. I really don't care if they don't look the same as I originally intended, if you feel the need, photocopy it and hand it out. (As long as the content remains the same that is).

If you have web access, please go to dizzybeat.com - it's updated at least every fortnight with reviews and photos. There's about 230 photos on the site now. I've also done an issue #5 feature - which has most of the content from this print zine as well as related links so you can find out more about each artist covered.

Did you know? The headline "It's not my Name, it's my tag" comes from the English comedy Smack the Pony.
