Beer and Bollocks 1 - a weekly wrap-up This will be a regular rant about not much at all, pretty much copying the pages of the Sydney Social Club pages. 25/07/2001 - Well I'm sitting here watching The Late Show and have come to the conclusion David Letterman is a deadset wanker, he has no idea about anything outside the US. He just spent his whole interview with Ewan McGregor asking him about Polar bears and how to make scotch whiskey. Give me Michael Parkinson anyday. I went to see Strung Out on Sunday. It was the worst gig I've ever been to. Them and the three supporting bands - Sommerset, Crank and Secondbest played sets thats all sounded the same. When I go to gigs like this it makes my love for ska, reggae and even Oi! increase even more. If I was a Strung Out fan I'd have been pissed off - they only played for 35 minutes, but hey it doesn't bother me.
